Playing Ball and Other Photos

StellaDella had a T-ball game this afternoon.  It was raining.

HandsomeHusband took this photo...This is the girls all running toward the ball in the infield.  Notice the resemblance to a swarm of bees.

StellaDella running for home plate.  HH observed that she seems to run a lot faster in the house.  I concur.

DramaQueen sat next to me using a black umbrella. And she complained the entire time about having to sit in the rain and watch her sister play ball.

StellaDella spent a lot of time "falling" in the muddy infield.  I jokingly called out to her "Now I told you to stay clean!"  She yelled back, "My coach told me to play dirty!"

I'm sure that is not exactly what he said.  On the bright side, at least she's somewhat listening when the coach is talking.

And, just because I enjoy playing with the macro feature, a shot of HH's button on his shirtsleeve cuff.

A good time was had by all, well maybe except DramaQueen, but that's to be expected. ;)

Ah. Simpler times, when life is a t-ball game. Great photos!

Such fun, a t-ball game in the rain. Love your commentary, it makes me laugh out loud (StellaDella seems to run faster in the house)... sounds like a good time was had by all, even tho DramaQueen complained a tad. :)

Bud - I wish life were a T-ball game...everyone bats, swing until you hit the ball, no outs and everyone plays the field. Could make the world a little nicer!

Oz Girl - They ALL run faster in the house. They create a breeze when they zoom by my desk! ;)

I love all of your shots especially the first one with all of the yellow uniforms and that closeup of the button.

They do look like bees.

The umbrella shots are interesting.

. . . but my sympathies go to the Drama Queen.
